The challenge

Make planetary change emotionally legible.

Lumen Institute needed more than a static mark. It needed an identity capable of expressing the changing state of the climate without reducing complex evidence to decoration.

We designed a generative system driven by twelve public datasets—from atmospheric carbon to ocean heat—translating their relationships into form, motion and color.
